All are welcome to the Mayor’s Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, December 4th at 6:00 p.m. at Westwood City Hall. It will be held completely outdoors, so dress appropriately. The WV Choir will lead us in song, then Mayor Waters will make a short address and flip the switch, and we will finish with everyone singing together. S’mores and cocoa provided afterward.

Wondering how to stop eating all your kids' leftover Halloween candy? Please drop off any extra candy in the front office.  We are collecting candy to set out for the teachers throughout the year when they need a quick sweet treat!  

The parade will begin at 2:00 pm (playground gates open at 1:50) and classroom parties will be at 2:15 pm.

Come to Westwood View to stroll along Broadway Boulevard or park yourself on Park place for a bit, all FREE of charge this year! Rain or shine! 5th grade will be selling sandwiches, chips, and drinks at the Carnival.

Each family is asked to bring two 2-liter soda bottles or 1-2 packages of sweets for the Cake Walk. These can be dropped in the school office October 19-24.

Build our COMMUNITY CHEST by bringing school snacks to the carnival to be given to our sister school.

Walk, bike or roll to school today! Donuts (and a few allergy friendly options) will be available on the playground at 7:50am to enjoy after walking or biking to school.
